Based in the UK Alex Snell, aka Revised Philosophy, has always been fascinated by music. In his teens he was a big fan of trance, but by the time he was heading towards his twenties he was more and more influenced by electro and progressive house.

However, it wasn't until a trip to Berlin that his perception of music changed. Fascinated by the dark emotive sounds and underground nature of the music scene, he gravitated towards the kind of sounds that the likes of Berghain and Watergate produced; this is where his love for deep and minimal house and techno formed.
